What is The Petite Session?
A petite photography session Enfield families can choose is ideal when only a small collection of professional images is needed.
The Petite Session is my smallest photography option and includes 3 professionally edited digital images. It is ideal for clients who do not need a large gallery but still want a few carefully created photographs to mark an important stage in their family’s life.
The session can be used for newborn photography, maternity photography, family portraits or a first birthday cake smash. A minimum of one family image is always included, so even when the main focus is your baby or child, there is an opportunity to create something meaningful for the whole family.
Unlike my larger photography collections, The Petite Session is intentionally simple. It offers a smaller final gallery and does not include the option to purchase additional edited photographs afterwards.

Newborn Petite Sessions
For newborn babies, the session remains baby-led. I provide wraps, outfits and props, and we work around your baby’s comfort rather than expecting every baby to follow exactly the same set of poses. Family photographs can also be included within the three final images.
Maternity Petite Sessions
A maternity Petite Session is perfect for mums who would love a small collection of elegant pregnancy portraits without booking a larger maternity package. Sessions take place in my Enfield studio and can include your partner or children if you would like to create a family portrait before your new baby arrives.
Family Petite Sessions
Children change incredibly quickly, and sometimes you do not need twenty new photographs — you simply want a few beautiful images showing what your family looks like right now. A family Petite Session offers exactly that, while keeping the experience relaxed and uncomplicated.
Cake Smash Petite Sessions
The Petite Session can also be used for a first birthday cake smash. It is a good choice for parents who want to celebrate the milestone with professional photographs but prefer a smaller final collection.
What is included in The Petite Session?
The Petite Session currently costs £150 and includes:
✓ one studio photography session
✓ 3 professionally edited digital images
✓ at least one family image
✓ access to studio props and appropriate outfits where required
✓ professional editing of your three selected photographs
An unedited gallery can be added for £100. If you choose this option, you can make your final image selection from the gallery within seven days.
The Petite Session does not include the option to purchase additional edited photographs later. If you already know that you would like a larger gallery, one of my regular photography collections will usually offer better value.
How is The Petite Session different from a full photography session?
The main difference is the size and flexibility of the final collection. My full photography sessions are designed for families who want a wider variety of photographs, more final images and greater flexibility when choosing their collection.
The Petite Session is deliberately more limited. It gives you three finished photographs and keeps the entire process simple. This is why it works particularly well for milestone updates, returning clients and families who only need a small number of photographs.
Some advanced composite photographs are reserved for full newborn collections. These include poses that require several separate photographs to be combined safely during editing, such as the froggy pose or more complex multi-layer fabric images.
Can I choose my own photographs?
Yes. If you add the unedited gallery option, I will send your gallery after the session and you can choose your three favourite images within seven days.
If you do not choose the unedited gallery option, I will select the three photographs that best represent your session and professionally edit them for you.
Every setup or pose created during a Petite Session is photographed with the intention of producing a finished image. I do not create additional setups purely for an unedited gallery.
It may be right for you if you:
- only need a few updated photographs,
- prefer a smaller investment,
- already have photographs from previous sessions,
- want to document a particular milestone,
- or simply do not need a large final gallery.
If choosing only three photographs would feel impossible, I would recommend looking at my regular collections instead.
