Here’s My Story

I am often asked why I became a newborn photographer. My history started a long time ago and is connected with my original profession. If I think back to my earliest memory when photography appeared in my life, it will be the moment when I’ve become the mom of my first little daughter.
But I think that I should back more and tell you about the earlier period when I started thinking about working with people as an idea for my life. I was 18 and decided to be a nurse. During my 6-years studies, I worked in various departments. The children’s wards were the closest to my heart, especially the Neonatal department with early-born babies.
I walked many nursing routes and over the years I landed in theater wards. I missed my first idea of being a baby nurse, but my job was my safe heaven with my beloved friends around me. I loved my job. Being with people was a great pleasure for me anyway. My first very difficult pregnancy forced me to take a break from coping with stress, patients’ illnesses, suffering families, and death.  A lot of changes have taken place in my life during this time. My first little girl, perfect in my eyes, was born. The camera started to be my third hand.
 One day I just thought that I’m in love with my new hobby and wanted to be better and better. I’ve started with courses and practice, a hard job, nights with Photoshop. At the start, I photographed everything. Families, friendly kids, events, pets, weddings, and newborns.
I quickly released that instead of dealing with the pain and death of patients in the corner as a nurse, I could work with new life and freshness with newborns and still keep my nursing approach on the wave.
Now I can say yes to both of my professions. YES! I’m an experienced master of nursing after 6 years of studying at Warsaw Medical University in Poland and YES! I’m a newborn and family photographer. You, your baby, and your family are in safe hands!
