A few things you might be wondering
When should I book my Bump to Baby Collection?
I recommend booking during your pregnancy, ideally as early as possible. This allows us to plan your Maternity Session at the perfect stage of your pregnancy and reserve space around your estimated due date for your Newborn Session.
When will my Maternity Session take place?
Maternity Sessions are usually photographed between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy, when your bump is beautifully defined while you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience.
We’ll choose the most suitable time for you when planning your session.
When will my Newborn Session take place?
Your Newborn Session will be arranged once your baby arrives.
Your due date allows me to reserve space in my diary, but we’ll confirm the exact session date after your little one is born. Babies rarely follow calendars, so there is flexibility around their arrival.
What happens if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?
That’s absolutely fine. Your due date is used as a guide rather than a fixed Newborn Session date.
Once your baby arrives, simply contact me and we’ll arrange the most suitable date for your session.
Can my partner and children be included?
Yes. Family photographs are included in the Bump to Baby experience.
Your partner and children are welcome to be part of your sessions, allowing us to document not only your pregnancy and new baby, but the story of your growing family too.
How do I book?
Simply get in touch through my contact form and select Bump to Baby as your session type.
I’ll guide you through the next steps and we’ll begin by planning your Maternity Session and reserving space around your expected due date for your Newborn Session.
How does payment work?
Your Bump to Baby Collection is paid in two stages, so the cost is spread across your photography journey.
60% of the collection price is payable at your Maternity Session, with the remaining 40% payable at your Newborn Session.

How many photographs are included?
Your chosen collection determines the number of professionally edited photographs you receive from each session:
Essential — 5 Maternity + 5 Newborn
Signature — 10 Maternity + 10 Newborn
Complete — 20 Maternity + 20 Newborn
This means your collection is beautifully balanced between both chapters.
Can I use more images from one session and fewer from the other?
The image allowance is divided equally between your Maternity and Newborn Sessions.
For example, the Signature Collection includes 10 professionally edited images from your Maternity Session and 10 from your Newborn Session.
This keeps both parts of your Bump to Baby story represented within the final collection.
When do I choose my photographs?
After each session, you’ll receive a private viewing gallery from which you can choose the photographs included in your collection.
Your selected images will then be individually and professionally retouched in my signature style.
What is the difference between Bump to Baby and booking the sessions separately?
Bump to Baby brings your Maternity and Newborn Sessions together as one beautifully connected experience — while also offering a saving compared with booking equivalent collections separately.
You’ll have both chapters planned with the same photographer and a consistent photographic style from pregnancy through to your baby’s first portraits.
How much can I save?
The saving depends on the collection you choose:
Essential — save £49
Signature — save £99
Complete — save £149
The saving is already reflected in the Bump to Baby Collection prices.
Can I book Bump to Baby after my Maternity Session has already taken place?
Bump to Baby is designed to be booked as a combined Maternity and Newborn experience.
If you have already completed your Maternity Session, please contact me and I can advise you on the most suitable Newborn collection instead.
